The Bakko Economy Flat Series Tennis Backboard (8' x 16') is a high-quality, affordable tennis practice backboard designed for residential tennis courts, schools, parks, recreation facilities, and backyard installations. Styled after the Bakko 8' Slimline Flat Series, this fiberglass tennis rebound wall delivers excellent durability, professional appearance, and dependable performance at an economical price.

Each panel features a sound-deadening interior with no metal frame and is enclosed in a premium fiberglass shell with a durable gel coat finish protected by Imron® paint. While slightly louder than Bakko's premium backboards, the Economy Series is significantly quieter than traditional wood tennis backboards and offers years of maintenance-free use.

The backboard mounts to three horizontal rows of pressure-treated 2" x 4" lumber (included), which are secured to fence posts. Green-faced mounting hardware and detailed installation instructions are included. Although installation requires basic carpentry skills, the assembly process is straightforward and efficient.

Unlike wood tennis practice walls, the Bakko Economy Flat Series will not warp, crack, peel, fade, or rot, eliminating the ongoing maintenance, repainting, and replacement costs associated with wooden backboards. When installation, materials, labor, and maintenance are considered, it offers exceptional long-term value.

Installation Information

The Economy Flat Series mounts to three rows of pressure-treated lumber attached to standard fence posts. Basic carpentry skills are recommended, but installation is simple using the included hardware and detailed instructions.

For proper tennis practice, allow approximately 40 feet of court depth, with the standard service line located 39 feet from the backboard.
